The Position
We are expanding our business and currently are looking for a motivated OPERATIONS ACCOUNTANT to join our team in Botevgrad.

Your primary responsibilities will include to provide support to the Senior Operational Accountant, Head of Finance, and factory management teams with regard to operational performance. Assisting with monthly management accounts, provision of operational analysis for decision making purposes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
♦ Responsible for the overall accounting and daily booking of all transactions and events occurred
♦ Assisting with monthly management accounts
♦ Accounting entries and data control
♦ Preparation of monthly reports and statements
♦ Support the internal audit, external audit, statutory accounting and tax teams with data requirements
♦ Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports and assist with special projects as required by management
♦ General Services Support

Candidates
What we need from the successful candidate:

♦ Qualified Accountant with university degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
♦ Ideally at least 2 years experience
♦ Able to demonstrate computer literacy particularly with database systems
♦ Knowledge of current tax, accounting regulations, procedures and control and also International Accounting Standards
♦ Knowledge and experience of Labour Protection and Safety and Health at work will be considered as an advantage
♦ Good written and verbal communication skills in English
♦ Analytical awareness and problem solving skills
♦ Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with all levels of management
♦ Positive attitude with a “can-do, make it happen”, approach to work
♦ Good time management and organization skills, ability to meet deadlines and changing goal posts
♦ Proactive approach to problem solving and process efficiency improvements.
♦ Good team player
